Behavioral Scences Greenroof

Thee rooftop patio on the Behavioral Sciences Building at Colorado State University is an underutilized space with high programatic potential. Currently, the BSB patio is occupied by generic chairs and tables that lure the occasional inhabitor. Transforming this underutilized space into a greenroof not only infuses aesthetic appeal, but also provides for insulative benefits for the newest building on the CSU campus. By implementing vegetation that is tolerant of high sun exposure facilitates low water usage, the Behavioral Sciences Greenroof can breathe new life into an unused rooftop patio.
